Apex Plastic - Mustang (175g)
Better feel and straighter flight than my Buzzz with a little longer carry as well. Long turnovers are more reliable and hyzerflips in the woods are a thing of beauty. Everytime I play a round with someone new they always want to know, "...what disc is that?" and when they feel the disc they're always impressed with the quality of the plastic.
The Mustang is not the easiest disc to find, so if you see them in stock I suggest you grab a couple. If you are lucky enough to find any in Sublime plastic buy three!
I haven't thrown the Royal plastic, but I feel like it will be a touch more understable and provide a great grip in the winter for people like me with dry hands.
I am definitely a beginner/intermediate player but I find this disc really easy to throw on almost any line. It’s really good on sidearm as it deals with my torque really well and flexes out really nicely. It’s opened up a lot of new shots I didn’t have before.
The mustang is my Workhorse (see what I did there?) Mod range. In premium plastic it had a nice neutral stable flight, holding on most any line you put it on, and with great glide. The royal is buttery smooth, releases clean, has a ton of glide and starts off a touch less stable. All the plastic blends feel amazing. If you're searching for a true do-it-all mid, or just like to try new plastic, you won't regret adding one of these to your stable.
And as always, great service from the folks at Nailed It!
